Job Summary:

The Process Manager is responsible for ensuring efficient ore processing and leading site operations to achieve production and cost performance targets. The role provides leadership and technical direction to the processing function, ensuring safe operations and continuous improvement in line with production plans, standards, and specifications. Responsibilities include developing team capability in alignment with company values and overseeing budgeting, planning, staffing, cost control, and overall operational profitability.

 

 Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Serve as the site subject matter expert in mineral processing and operational best practices.
  • Maintain a strong field presence to ensure consistent application of systems, procedures, controls, and risk management practices.
  • Lead and manage processing operations to maximize production efficiency, safety, and cost effectiveness.
  • Develop and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports aligned with operational goals and budget targets.
  • Identify and recommend short‑ and long‑term improvement initiatives to enhance processing efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Drive continuous improvement by optimizing processes, systems, and equipment performance.
  • Coordinate short‑ and long‑term maintenance planning with production requirements, including scheduled downtime activities.
  • Utilize SAP and Microsoft Office tools to support operational reporting, analysis, and decision‑making.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support site and business objectives.

 

Knowledge, Skill and Experience:

Education / Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering (or related degree/or experience) strongly preferred. Equivalent work experience with demonstrated achievements will be considered.

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum of twelve years of Heap Leach / CIC Processing Circuit related experience in production execution areas.
  • Minimum of five years of experience at a Superintendent or management level.
  • Managed a new facility through construction and commissioning
  • Involvement in designing a complex process circuit

Skills/Knowledge

  • Intermediate computer skills; Microsoft Office, Outlook.
  • SAP experience.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License. Able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English.

 

The salary range for this position is $155,000 - $206,000, based on experience.
