Job Summary:

Under direction of the Human Resources Manager this position will provide administrative support to the human resources department on all personnel matters including special assignments.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performs customer service functions by acting as front desk, answering and transferring phone calls accordingly. 
  • Assist in recruiting efforts by coordinating candidate visits, itineraries, travel reimbursements, and hotel reservations.
  • Assist in the onboarding process coordinating timely submission of new hire paperwork, pre-employment testing, background checks, and entering information into HRIS system.
  • Assist in benefits administration by answering general questions regarding company-sponsored benefit plans and refer to Benefits Specialist when necessary.
  • Assist in the coordination and processing of annual performance reviews.
  • Assist in the coordination of training programs.
  • Coordinates employee reimbursement programs. Boot program, Rx Safety eyewear, gym membership reimbursement.
  • Creates and maintains employee files. Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files. Conducts periodic audits to employee files and recommends corrective actions.
  • Maintains HRIS systems. Enters employee disciplinary notices.
  • Assist HR manager with various research projects and/or special projects.
  • Processes mail.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge, Skill and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in business or related field, preferred
  • Three years in an office environment, Human Resources experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and PowerPoint) required. 
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate both written and orally to all levels within and outside the Company.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate events / projects
  • Basic knowledge of state and federal employment laws, special event coordination

 

The hourly range for this position is $22.26 - $29.71, based on experience.
