Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Assistant Controller, the Senior Accountant plays a crucial role in the finance team, providing expert support in managing and analyzing the day-to-day operations of the finance department. This position is responsible for preparing financial statements, ensuring the accurate and timely entry of financial and costing data into appropriate systems, and performing complex accounting tasks. The Senior Accountant applies in-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), and company policies and procedures to ensure financial integrity and compliance.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a demonstrated track record of performing complex accounting duties and financial analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and applicable financial regulations.
- Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
The pay range for this position is $42.00-$55.00 per hour based on experience.
