Job Summary

We are seeking a Mine Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Senior Supervisor, the Mine Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the safe and productive operation of support loaders and wheel dozers of varying operating weights.

14 days on / 14 days off rotational role based in Geraldton, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example and promote a culture of safety and environmental protection.
• Lead a mixed trade or specialists’ team.
• Work with a range of equipment and vehicles.
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules as per vendor specifications.
• Ensure planned and unplanned repairs are executed to keep all equipment running smoothly and safely.
• Distribute tasks to the team and oversee work progress and performance.
• Advise mining and processing teams on the correct operation of equipment.
• Work with senior supervisors and other superintendents to achieve the mine’s overall objectives.
• Communicate effectively with senior management, other supervisors, and the team.
• Develop employees by providing advice, training, and coaching.
• Comply with legislation and regulations concerning safety, employment, and protection of the environment.

Required Experience and Skill Set

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience in an industrial setting; mine site experience is an asset.
