The Greenstone Mine commenced production in May 2024 and will be one of Canada’s largest open-pit gold mines, with annual production expected to average nearly 400,000 ounces of gold per year for an initial 14-year mine life with additional potential from a large underground deposit. Greenstone Gold Mines L.P. is owned by Equinox Gold Corp., a Vancouver-based mining company with seven other operating mines in the United States, Mexico and Brazil.


Greenstone Mine is seeking a Dozer Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Mine Operations Supervisor, the Dozer Operator is responsible for safely and productively operating tracked Dozers varying in operating weight.



  • Operate the Dozer in a safe and efficient way in accordance with all relevant legislation, company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor gauges, and other indicators to make ensure the Dozer is working properly, report discrepancies to dispatch.
  • Perform Field Level Risk Assessments.
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping as well as lubricating and refilling all fluids as required.
  • Use two-way-radio, horn, and light signals to communicate with other operators and ensure safety.
  • Use the Dozer according to operating practices to push and place materials such as overburden, sand, gravel, blasted rock, and snow. Build pads, build roads, prep drill patterns, rip & maintain pit floors, support loading units as well as perform shovel clean ups.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience operating a Dozer in a mine setting
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Prior experience in an industrial setting - mine site experience is required
  • Heavy Equipment Operator Training or pertinent experience is required
  • Ontario Surface Common Core Training is an asset



  • This position will be based in Geraldton, Ontario on a rotational basis.

Greenstone Mine provides company transportation from multiple pick-up points.
