Job Summary:

Working as a member of a crew, irrigate leach pad with pipeline, drip emitters and conduct frequent and regular maintenance to maintain barren solution system and process targets. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Always works in a safe and respectful manner
  • Understands and acts on direction from lead operators and/or supervisors
  • Perform proper inspections and report all unsafe conditions and defects immediately
  • Perform all necessary leach pad operations functions on a predominantly day shift schedule with possible required work on weekends and holidays
  • Operate mobile equipment (all-terrain vehicles, dozers, telehandlers, pickup trucks) safely
  • Operate various hand and power tools such as wrenches, drills, chainsaws and pipe fusers
  • Understand the manipulation of solution flow and able to read pressure gauges, flowmeters and other instruments
  • Monitor and troubleshoot upset conditions
  • Additional responsibilities and duties as required

 

Knowledge, Skill and Experience:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 6 months – 1 year working in an industrial/mining environment is preferred but not needed
  • Communication (written and verbal) in English

 

 

 

The hourly pay rate for this position starts at $26.44
