Mine Site Services Technician & Equipment Operator
Greenstone Gold Mines L.P. is a 60/40 joint venture partnership between Equinox Gold and Orion Mine Finance Group formed for the purpose of the joint ownership and development of the Greenstone Gold Property including the Greenstone Mine located on a historical mine site in the Geraldton-Beardmore Greenstone belt in Ontario. The Greenstone Mine is managed directly by a dynamic and experienced Owner’s team, with an estimated $1.5 Billion investment over the three-year construction and commissioning phase, and a 14-year operating life of mine.
Greenstone Mine is seeking a Mine Site Services Technician & Equipment Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Site Services Supervisor, the Technician/Equipment operator is responsible for supporting all departmental initiatives with a concentration on preventative maintenance and construction initiatives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
- Supporting all departmental initiatives with a concentration on preventative maintenance and construction initiatives.
- Maintains organized equipment inventory staging areas
- Perform operational equipment checks.
- Operate Mobile equipment and assist mine and plant operations where possible.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Follow health and safety policies to ensure safety and environmental protection.
- Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and ongoing maintenance requirements.
- Load and secure parts, equipment and/or accessories for deliver
- Unload equipment
- Assist with other facility operation duties as needed

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
- Prior experience in an industrial setting – mine site experience an asset
- Equipment Operating experience in a mine or industrial environment
- High school education/General Education Diploma (GED) or combination of education and pertinent work-related experience
LOCATION
- This position will be based in Geraldton, Ontario.
Greenstone Mine provides company transportation from multiple pick-up point locations.
